David Kinnear has over 30 years’ experience in corporate accounting, project management, business development, operations, and financial management in several different verticals. David is a customer centric, and profit-driven CEO/CFO and General Manager with extensive theoretical and hands-on experience in successfully delivering on large scale and highly complex operational initiatives in support of business operations, stakeholder and client relations. David is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Licensed Automotive Service Technician by trade.

As President and Founder of VenueVision Media Systems (http://www.venuevision.com), the company was honoured to be awarded contracts from Honda Canada Inc. and Mercedes-Benz Canada to supply, install and support digital signage and communications networks to corporate and franchise dealers across Canada. VenueVision’s Digital Signage products and services are deployed in over 300 automotive dealerships in Canada through the two OEM contracts and several franchise dealers representing all brands. The VenueVision solution has also been utilized in NHL, MLB franchises, fifty municipal sports and recreation complexes in Ontario and Alberta, and private schools throughout Canada and the USA. The VenueVision solution includes integration to 19 data services to provide value added customer facing dashboards and telemetry.

Prior to founding VenueVision, Mr. Kinnear held senior management positions in automotive, manufacturing, retail, financial and professional organizations. A highly motivated entrepreneur with extensive experience in project management, information technology, online-communications, customer service, finance, operations, administration and HR. Mr. Kinnear served as Treasurer of the Canadian Out-of-Home Digital Association (CODA).

Subsequent to the successful sale of VenueVision to a minority partner, Mr. Kinnear served as General Manager of one of Ontario’s largest volume pre-owned vehicle dealers and controller of two new car dealerships in the GTA.

Mr. Kinnear is currently providing consulting services in the areas of accounting, business management and mediation/litigation.  Mr. Kinnear is serving as President and Director of Peel Condominium Corporation 292 in Mississauga.  Mr. Kinnear is also CFO and Director of Banff Global Energy Summit Inc. (www.banffenergysummit.com).  This annual conference is hosted at the Kinnear Centre for Creativity and Innovation in Banff, Alberta.  The aim of the summit is to encourage a frank dialogue based on technology, science and economics on the future of energy.  Strategy Management Group Inc., founded by Mr. Kinnear in 1996 is currently working on a project to improve the current recycling program in the Province of Ontario.
